As a Self-Governing Province, Jeju may impose a different entry regulation from the mainland. Please make sure to check the specific visa requirements to enter Jeju and not just Korea in general.

Visa-free Entry to Jeju Island

In order to encourage visitors to Jeju Island, a visa-free entry policy has been imposed to assist foreigners who will be arriving in Jeju Island on direct flights from overseas without stopping over at any other parts of Korea.

Update on Regulations for Entering Jeju Island

Starting from September 1st 2022, K-ETA will be required for ALL travelers entering the Republic of Korea including Jeju Island.

Boarding Flight Traveler MUST apply for K-ETA and get K-ETA approval before boarding the flight.
